The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) has condemned the Imamite Houthi militias capturing 41 journalists at the headquarters of al-Yemen al-Yowm TV network in Sana'a.
"We condemn these actions, journalists should not be held hostage (...) it is a war crime," Ernest Sagaga, IFJ director for Human Rights and Security, told Sputnik.
The Houthi militia have killed the former President Ali Saleh and many of his military and peaceful supporters in the past few days for defecting from their rebel alliance to side of the internationally recognized government.
