The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. The Organization for Islamic CooperationOIC has renewed its fixed position supporting legality in Yemen and solving the crisis through GCC Initiative and its Executive Mechanism, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216.

The organization confirms its support to Yemen and anything serving its interests and realizing aspirations of Yemeni people of keeping Yemen's unity, sovereignty, stability and security, said the organization in a release issued on Monday, pointing out that it is following up developments in the capital Sana'a.

The OIC welcomed a call for a dialogue between Yemeni concerned parties, hoping that Yemen will overcome its crisis away of sectarian agenda.
