UAE denies Houthi claim of firing missile toward its airspace

ABU DHABI-SABA
The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) denied in a statement on Sunday Yemen's rebel Houthis' claims of firing a cruise missile toward the UAE's airspace.

The statement that that "the UAE has an air defence system that capable of dealing with any threat of any kind."

The Houthis had claimed earlier in the day that they fired a missile toward the Barakah nuclear power plant in the UAE. NCEMA's statement said the Barakah nuclear power plant is immune to all possible threats and is equipped with all the safety systems required for of projects of such scale.

The NCEMAassured the UAE people and residents that the county’s atmosphere is safe and will always be.
