Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammed Assaadi and the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Dr. Bandar Hajjar have discussed the status of the bank's financed projects in Yemen which have been resumed after three years of suspension as a result of the armed conflict.

The two officials met at the sideline of the session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) at the Organization of Islamic Conference in Istanbul on Thursday.

They discussed the ongoing arrangements for organizing the assessment meetings of the IDB's project portfolio in Yemen and its support for the reconstruction phase in Yemen.
