Yemen participates in the 33rd Round Meetings of the Permanent Committee of Social and Economic Cooperation (COMSEC) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation by a delegation headed by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammad al-Sa'adi.
The meeting, which is being held on 20-23 of this November, aims at discussing economic issues of OIC members, COMSEC's agenda and improving border transport corridors between member countries.
The meeting also discusses developments of international economy and boosting trade between the member countries, as well as backing the role of private sector, transport and tourist sector, increasing agricultural cooperation, food security and alleviating poverty.
President Turkey Recep Tayyeb Edrdogan, the Secretary General of OIC Yousof al-Othaimeen and concerned ministers of member countries attended the meeting.
