The Dep. Governor of Taiz Dr. Abdul-Qawi al-Mekhlafi affirmed on Sunday that the provincial authority of Taiz is determined to restore state functions locally, improve the humanitarian status and tackle the repercussions of three years long conflict with the Houthi-Saleh rebel militias.
Al-Mekhlafi unveiled these plans during his tour of al-Torba a major district in the outskirts of Taiz city. He addressed with the district officials he met the local challenges and needs, in terms of services and security maintenance.
