Dr. Riyadh Yaseen presented his credentials to Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa as new Ambassador to Yemen.
In the meeting held on Friday, the two parties exchanged views on mutual relations between the two countries and means of promoting them.
Yaseen conveyed best wishes of President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi to his Portuguese counterpart, hoping prosperity to the people and the government.
For his part, de Sousa praised historical relations of the two countries and voiced willingness of improving friendship and cooperation.
