UN must move to protect Yemen's children, Fatah says

Minister of Local Administration, Chairman of Supreme Relief Committee, Abdulraqeep Fatah has vigorously denounced violations committed against children in Taiz city by Houtاi-Saleh rebellious militias. Pressures must be mounted upon the militias by international organizations mainly the UN to prevent more atrocities, he stated.

Abdulraqeep condemned the militias bombardment against residential zones in the area of Ber Basha of Taiz city. Five children were killed and several more wounded by the undiscriminating shelling.

The Minister called on the UN Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen to condemn such criminal acts. International community ought to move immediately to stop such violations and atrocities, he noted.
