The European Union (EU) strongly condemned the attack by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias on the commercial ship (MINERVAGRACHT), which flies the Dutch flag in the Gulf of Aden.

Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr Nizar Ba-Sohaib met Monday in Aden with representatives and directors of the International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) which are operating in Yemen.
The Deputy Minister welcomed the international organizations which operate in Yemen to help Yemeni people in this critical moment.
Topics related obstacles facing the activities of these organizations were debated in the meeting. Legal mechanisms and regulations the INGOs operate in Yemen must comply with were also discussed. Relations between Ministry of Planning and INGOs were touched up too.
Dr Ba-Sohaib touched upon the humanitarian actions these organizations embark on. He underscored that while Yemeni government is highly appreciating services provided by the INGOs, it can't tolerate humanitarian action to deviate into political activity outside the Yemeni legal framework.
The Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation expressed thanks to every INGO operates in Yemen and helps Yemeni people.
