Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher along with Deputy Premier, Minister of Civil Service Abdulaziz Jubari launched Monday in the city of Aden a national campaign to eradicate Polio.
The nation-wide immunization campaign is targeting some (5,375,020) of children under five year.
The Prime Minister appreciated aid and assistance provided by King Sulman Relief and Humanitarian Center (KSrelief), UAERC, WB, WHO, UNICEF, Child Organization, USAID, Global Vaccination Alliance and ICRC.
The Minister of Public Health and Population Dr Nasser Ba Aoum stated that the campaign is intended to reach (5,375,020) under-five children. The mission is carried out by (5300) workers throughout the country.
