Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Yemen has participated in the tenth meeting of the Standing Group of Economic and Commercial Cooperation's(COMCEC) Transport and Telecommunication Group held at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Ankara.

General Director of al-Wadi'a Outlet Mutlaq al-Sai'ari headed Yemen's delegation in the meeting.

Under the motto of "Improving Transport Routes for Member Countries," the meeting tackled effects of these routes on mutual tradebetween these countries and the world and its significant importance in reviving economy and development.

One of the participating committees discussed means of transport in Islamic countries through collecting data and analyzing them in six points; cultural, political, economic, social, technical and security and safety.

Many countries and concerned organizations participated in the meetings and urged on changing highways linking countries into approved transport routes.
