RIYADH-SABA
President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received on Saturday the United Nations' Envoy to Yemen Ismael OuldCheikhAhmad and discussed with him peace efforts and available chances to realize it.
President welcomed the UN envoy and praised his efforts for realizing peace and boosting security in the region and the world.
"We have been and still advocate of peace and peacemakers through its different stages, starting with the Inclusive National Dialogue Conference, which included all Yemeni people's components and its different sects; political and social forces, Civil Society Organizations, women and youth including Houthis themselves," said President Hadi.
All believedthat Houthis understood what coexistence was and understood the language of the dialogue away of exclusion and marginalization, but unfortunately they are as usual do not know languages other than of weapons and excluding others through their coup against the state and the outcomes of the dialogue agreed upon by all Yemeni people, said President.
"This is what our Yemeni people are suffering from its aftermaths today."
"Despite all this, our hands are still extended to peace as unavoidable choice, the peace which does not include forthcoming clashes and the peace, which is based on the three references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the Inclusive National Dialogue Conference and UN related resolutions led by Resolution 2216," said President.
Houthis do not care about living and humanitarian suffering of the Yemeni people and rather prefer proceed with war and recruit children from schools and push them to warfronts as fuel to their clashes for implementing their foreign hatred sectarian agenda, he said.
For his part, the UN envoy expressed pleasure for meeting with President and for what he listened from him, confirming support of his efforts by the international community for realizing peace in accordance with the three references.
He pointed out to a number of ideas to resume rounds of peace efforts and the dialogue, Kuwait talks were the most recent.
"We have a package of ideas for building confidence, which relate to humanitarian issues, releasing prisoners, ending cities' siege, including Taiz, and other ideas for alleviating suffering of the Yemeni people," said UN Envoy.
He voiced efforts for re-opining UN offices in the transitional capital of Aden.
