The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Lahj security authorities seize explosives in a farm

The security authorities of Lahj have seized a quantity of explosives, TNT and C4 in addition to strips that are used in suicide bombers' belts.
The Director General of Lahj Security Department Saleh Assayid told Saba that "upon a precise tipoff police security men raided a farm in al-Hajl village and seized a big quantity of explosives that had been buried by a terror group inside the farm."
The operation is one in a streak of successful operations that Lahj security authorities have been making of late, the most recent of which include arresting wanted persons and terrorist sleeping cells and foiling of attacks.
