President highlights marine forces, defense

President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has highlighted the status of the marine forces and defense and coast guard forces for their importance on defending and protecting regional waters and international navigation and fighting smuggling, piracy and other illegal acts.

In his meeting with Commander of the Marine Forces and Coastal Defense General Abdullah al-Nakhi' and Commander of Coast Guards General Khaled Mohammad, President stressed on re-building and qualifying military facilities to perform their duties as demanded.

He confirmed coordination and cooperation with brothers in the Arab Coalition for contribution in reconstruction, prequalification and boosting capabilities and directed facilitating all difficulties for improving security performance and admired stability.

Commanders al-Nakhi' and Mohammad expressed pleasure for meeting the President as the meeting aimed at improving these sectors.

They presented short review to the president on programs and prequalifying the facilities and infrastructure in the marine command in Aden in cooperation with brothers in Saudi Arabia.

They hoped boosting this cooperation for achieving joined aims with brothers in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
