The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Yemen condemns terror attack on Egyptian security checkpoint

The Government of Yemen has strongly condemned the terror attack on an Egyptian security checkpoint in Al-Arish city north of Sinai in Egypt.
The attack reportedly led to the killing of six Egyptian military personnel.
"The Yemeni Government stands by the side of the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt in its battle against the forces of terrorism and extremism and therefore supports all the measures that the Egyptian Government takes to protect its security and stability," said the Foreign Ministry in a statement of which Saba obtained a copy.
The Government expressed its condolences to the families of the killed soldiers and the Egyptian Government and people, wishing speedy recovery for the wounded.
