Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen Ahmed Ghaleb has said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) statement on the conclusion of Article IV consultations with the Republic of Yemen reflects an important return to institutional engagement with the international community after a long period of interruption, welcoming the content of the statement.

Government delegation launches Taiz Central Bank

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service and Insurances AbdulazizJubari and the accompanying delegation officially launched on Monday the branch of the Central Bank of Yemen here.

"This step represents most significant steps in the framework of activating institutions and executive offices and unifying resources," said Jubari.

He added that the spiteful war on Taiz by Houthi-Saleh's militias created many of challenges in field of institutional infrastructure for normalizing life and working in executive offices for serving the interests of the people and alleviating their suffering.

He confirmed that situations in Taiz are stable and need big efforts for improving them as the province has become in the top list of the political leadership priorities. He thanked the people ofTaiz for their civilized conduct and peaceful co-existence.

"We will not leave Taiz until issuing the first automatic passport from the city and all needed equipment have been prepared for quickly spaceconnectivity to issue the first passport to bring life into its order," he said.

He added that the militias will go to the dustbin of history and Taiz and Yemen will eventually win.
