Presidential Leadership Council reviews national, regional developments
The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) held a meeting Today, Thursday, presided over by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council, with the presence of its members Aidarous al-Zubaidi, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Mujalli and via video conference Tariq Saleh and Abdul Rahman al-Mahrami, while Council members Sultan al-Aradah and Faraj al-Bahsani were absent with excuse.

Yemen, Cuba discuss improving relations

Yemen's Ambassador the Republic of Cuba Mohammad Nasher met on Saturday with Director of Middle East and Northern Africa Department at Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs Roberto Dominguez.

The two officials discussed different common issues, mainly the unique and strong relations between the two countries and means of boosting them.

Ambassador Nasher briefed Cuban official on the latest developments in Yemen and position of the legitimate government on realizing peace on the bases of the three international supported references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolution 2216.

He confirmed that the government of President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi continues work with all international community organizations to realize just and inclusive peace in Yemen.

He noted that the Houthi-Saleh's militias have been continuing their war on the Yemeni people, violating human rights and hindering peace efforts supported by the international community.

For his part, Domínguez confirmed keenness of his country's government in Yemen's conditions and renewed his country's support to the government of Yemen to stop the war and realize peace.

He also confirmed his country's firmed attitude to Yemen and Arab Group on supporting Geneva recent conference on Human Rights.
