Dep. Interior Minister inaugurates training of Policewomen in Marib

The Dep. Minister of Interior Maj. Gen. Mohammed Salem bin Abbood Asharif inaugurated today a training program for new female recruits to the Policewomen Forces in Marib, eastern Yemen.
Thirty women will undergo the training. Asharif delivered a speech confirming the importance of founding a policewomen force "in these exceptional circumstances toward building the country's security institution."
The Director of Marib Police Department said in a speech that the trainees will be the nucleus of the planned policewomen force. "More batches will be recruited, trained and posted on sites to perform their roles competently," he promised.
