Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulmalik al-Mikhlafi has said the complicated conditions Yemen is experiencing currently require support from the International Community and Human Rights Council to enable the government honor its human rights commitments.
"We announce our acceptance of the draft Arab Resolution under the Tenth Article in keenness for consistence in the council and on continuation of the international consistence on conditions in Yemen," added al-Mikhlafi in a speech he delivered on Friday at the Human Rights Council here.
He confirmed government's positive dealing with the draft resolution entitled " Providing Technical Assistances to Yemen and Capacity Building in Field of Human Rights Included in the Document A/HRC/36/L8" and technically revised under the Tenth Article to provide technical assistances and building capacities of the Yemeni National Committee for Investigating Human Rights Violations Claims in Yemen.
Al-Mikhlafi also welcomed support provided by this resolution to Yemen's legitimate government and for unity, security and stability of Yemen, and for commitment with the international legitimacy's resolutions led by resolution 2216.
While he thanked the small circle in the council for contributing in reaching consistence on the resolution, he praised Arabic Group for preparing the draft presented by Egypt
