The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Abdul-Rahman al-Mahrami discussed today, Saturday, with the Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohsen al-Daeri and the Director of the Military Academy Maj. President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi has told the UN Special Envoy to Yemen that "we have offered concessions at consecutive times out of our national sense of responsibility and desire to save Yemeni people's blood, but the coupists were unfortunately indifferent at all rounds of peace talks."

Hadi met IsmaiilOuldCheikh Ahmed on the sideline of his participation in the UN General Assembly in New York on Wednesday.

They discussed the prospects of peace to end the humanitarian misery gripping the people as a result of the radical militias imposed war and to stop the rising toll of civilian casualties in Taiz as a result of the militias' shelling on the besieged city.

OuldCheikh Ahmed expressed appreciation of Hadi'sinclination to peace saying "this is what we notice about you every time [we meet you]."
