Info. Minister, Chinese Ambassador sign media exchange deal

RIYADH-SABA
Yemen's Information Minister Muammar al-Eryani and the Chinese Ambassador to Yemen, Tian Qi have signed a media expertise exchange and cooperation deal in Riyadh on Wednesday.

In a statement to Saba, al-Eryani said the agreement aims to promote media cooperation between the two countries with a view to improving the performance of the information media.

Al-Eryani spoke highly of China's support to the Yemeni state headed by President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

The Chinese Ambassador called on the media to further promote the relations between Yemen and China. He affirmed China's attitude in favor of peaceful settlement as a necessity to secure stabilization for Yemen. He said that China supports Yemen's unity, security and independence.
