Police have arrested three members of a terror cell and wounded their fourth, the cell's leader, Sultan Warazan,in Shabwa's provincial capital Ataqas they were plotting for the assassination of local government leaders in the province.
The Director General of Shabwah Police AwadhAdahbool told Saba:" A security unit busted the cell's hideout in Ataqcity last night and arrested three terrorists after exchange of fire with them and the injury of their leader, also known as Abu-Hodehidah, in his feet."
Warazan or Abu-Hodehidah is responsible for killing soldiers manning a checkpoint in Radhoom of Shabwa late last January, Adahbool said.
He added that police are still on the hunt for the remaining members of the cell to round them up and bring them to justice.
