The General Authority of Civil Aviation confirms the need to obtain prior authorization to enter Yemen's airspace The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

President Hadi authorizes higher education minister for Astana conference

President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi has authorized Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Hussein ba-Salama to represent Yemen in Astana Conference on Sciences and Technology to be held on 10th of this September in Kazakhstan.

In a meeting with ba-Salama on Thursday, President Hadi emphasized on representing Yemen in this conference for Organization of Islamic Cooperation to explain Yemen's real situation in this period for crystalizing supportive stance to Yemen and support for education and qualification for facing current challenges.

He also urged the ministry of higher education to limit scholarships abroad for alleviating extra burden on the state under current difficult conditions and for avoiding negative results on the students, praising the vision presented by minister ba-Salama on coordination with Aden University and universities in liberated provinces for providing unique education for Yemeni students and qualify them for labor markets.

Minister ba-Salama presented detailed strategy for including many students and opening new horizons of cooperation with brothers in the Gulf countries for the purpose.
