Prime Minister Ahmed Obeid bin-Daghr has discussed with the Director General of Aden Police Department Maj. Gen. Shallal Shaye'a the situation in Aden and the return of police stations to duty after a long closure due to the Saleh-Houthi militias' waged war on the city.

The Premier was given to a detailed account from Shaye'a on the Police Department's efforts made to maintain stability and security in Aden through the re-activation of the Security Operations Room.

The premier hailed the efforts the Director General and his comrades make to normalize the situation and clamp down on crimes in the city.

Shaye'a said security has far improved than it was before thanks to the support from the government and the Arab Coalition.

He said that the mass celebrations of the Eid festivity in the city of Aden is only a sign of how much has life been re-normalized.
