The National Committee for Investigation into Human Rights Violation Claims has reported that the claims of violations collected from all Yemeni provinces amount to 17,123 claims attributed to all warring parties.
The claimed violations fall into 20 categories of abuse.
In a roundtable held today in Taiz on Monday to discuss the Committee's newly issued (Third) Report covering the period from September 2016 to June 2017, the following claims were revealed: 176 child soldier recruitments, 141 claims were investigated into.
In the field of landmine planting, 362 claims were collected. The landmines killed 138 persons including 101 men, five women and 32 children. The injured by landmines totaled 224 persons; 168 men, 19 women, 37 children.
In forcible displacement, the Committee collected 732 claims, 536 of the cases are family displacements.
