Aden Governor meets UN Ambassador

RIYADH-SABA
Aden Governor Abdulaziz al-Maflahion Friday met here with UK Ambassador to Yemen Simon Shercliff, discussing efforts of normalizing the life in Aden and providing services to the Yemenis.

The ambassador was updated on Yemen's developments, achievements which have been recently made, provision of electricity and fuel and reconstruction.

Al-Maflahi pointed out that the government seeks to exploit great potentials of Aden, particularly its port in order to restore its pioneering role, calling for participation of British and GCC experts in reviving Aden Port.

Al-Maflah highly valued the Ambassador's attention of Aden Port as well as the UK support provided to the legitimate government.

For his part, the British ambassador lauded efforts made by Aden's local authorities in normalizing the life, providing essential services and reconstructing what was destroyed by the war.
