Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Aden Governor Abdulaziz al-Maflahion Friday met here with UK Ambassador to Yemen Simon Shercliff, discussing efforts of normalizing the life in Aden and providing services to the Yemenis.

The ambassador was updated on Yemen's developments, achievements which have been recently made, provision of electricity and fuel and reconstruction.

Al-Maflahi pointed out that the government seeks to exploit great potentials of Aden, particularly its port in order to restore its pioneering role, calling for participation of British and GCC experts in reviving Aden Port.

Al-Maflah highly valued the Ambassador's attention of Aden Port as well as the UK support provided to the legitimate government.

For his part, the British ambassador lauded efforts made by Aden's local authorities in normalizing the life, providing essential services and reconstructing what was destroyed by the war.
