Yemen is participating in a symposium entitled "dialogue between the Arab and China civilizations" held in the city of Chengdu, China.
The seventh round of the symposium was launched Tuesday and attended by representatives of Arab countries delegations, experts and researchers.
During the symposium, which lasts two days, the Arab delegation hailed the profound relations between the Arab and Chinese civilizations, indicating that both civilizations are facing common challenges.
The symposium discusses issues of Arab-Chinese partnership in the Belt and Road Initiative, moderation and the phenomena of Islamophobia and extremism, and how to tackle them.
