Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid bin-Daghr laid Saturday the foundation stone for improving and rehabilitating Basuhaib Military Hospital at total cost of YR 400 million financed by the government.
In a visit to the location of the hospital, bin-Daghr praised the role played by the hospital in the past as one of the best of military hospitals in Yemen that provided health care to military personnel and ordinary people, a matter which alleviated great burden on other hospitals and health centers.
Improving and rehabilitating the hospital comes in a very important stage and in difficult conditions the county is going through, said bin-Daghr, confirming that the hospital will contribute in curing big number of war injured, who defend the homeland's soil and scarifying themselves to beat Houthi-Saleh's rebel militias.
"It is time to bring life to Basuhaib Hospital to play its leading role in providing health care to all patients and injured people," said Prime Minister bin-Daghr, who ordered adding 100 care-beds to the hospital.
