Cholera awareness raising teams arrive in militia-held regions, Deputy governor

The Deputy Governor of Marib Mohamed al-Maawadhi has affirmed that the teams in charge of raising awareness about cholera have arrived in the Saleh-Houthi militia-held territories, in Sarwah of Marib.

The deputy governor said this during a meeting on the preparations needed for the house-to-house awareness raising campaign, scheduled to start next Saturday.

The deputy governor said the government is dispatching teams to rebel-held areas out of its sense of responsibility for the health of all Yemenis.

The Health Ministry branch office in Marib even formed teams for spreading anti-cholera awareness in al-Mahjaza, Habab valley and neighboring areas that extend into the militia-held areas.
