His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) stated that any approach to put an end of the war in Yemen will never be successful, unless it deals with the Houthi militias as part of an Iranian cross-border scheme, and not as a local political party, warning that reducing any crisis of this kind to truces and arrangements for a ceasefire will lead to temporary risk management rather than building sustainable peace.

Vice President values Saudi facilitations to Yemeni Hajjis

Vice President Ali Mohsen has valued facilitations provided by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Yemeni Hajjis for this season.
In his meeting on Wednesday with Minister of Endowments and Islamic Guidance Ahmad Attia, who briefed him on preparations for delegating Yemeni Hajjis, Mohsen thanked King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman and concerned Saudi authorities for easing all difficulties facing Hajjis.

Minister Attiah informed Mohsen on measures for delegating the Hajjis, who reached 24500 this season coming from all governorates and will be transported by 151 agencies within applied procedures.

He informed the Vice President that a Yemeni Hajj paid SR 5850 as fees defined by Saudi authorities to Yemeni Hajjis and these fees included lodging at Mecca and Medina, meals and transportation between the two Holy Shrines.

The hajj paidSR 800 as fees for transportations between the two countries and this sum differs based on the governorate from which the Hajj comes from.
