The Security Committee in Taiz held a meeting Monday chaired by the Governor and Committee President Nabil Shamsan to discuss military and security developments and efforts to enhance security and stability in the governorate.

Premier, governor discus security, service conditions in Abyan

Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid bin-Daghr, Vice Chief of StaffSaleh al-Zandani and Abyan Governor Abu Bakr Hussein discussed on Tuesday security and service conditions in Abyan governorate.

Prime Minister confirmed that the state is strongly fighting terrorist groups of al-Qaeda and Islamic State and is cracking down on terrorists wherever they are.

Governor Hussein explained security and military conditions in the governorate and plan prepared by the local authority to keep security and peace.

Bin-Daghr emphasized on doubling efforts and normalizing conditions in the governorate as well as improving services, highlighting on integration of all to overcome difficulties and challenges facing the government under these difficult conditions.

He noted that security and stability is on the top list of the government's agenda and that the government exerts every possible effort to improve basic services
