President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi on Monday received the acting UK Ambassador to Yemen Andrew Hunter, discussing cooperation and distinguished relations between Yemen and the United Kingdom.
The president highly valued the United Kingdom's stances supporting Yemen's legitimacy in different international forums, pointing out that the permanent members of the Security Council played important roles in Yemen's transition and the success of the National Dialogue Conference.
The president also reaffirmed that Yemen will continue cooperation and provide all sorts of facilities for relief teams.
For his part, the ambassador reiterated his country's attitudes supporting Yemen and its constitutional legitimacy represented by President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi, indicating that peace must be realized on the basis of the GCC Deal, the National Dialogue Conference's outcomes and the UN resolutions, particularly the resolution 2216.
