Minister of Finance, Governor of the Central Bank Discuss Comprehensive Reform Implementation with Arab Monetary Fund

Minister of Finance Marwan Faraj Bin Ghanem and Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen Ahmed al-Maabqi discussed Thursday with Dr. Fahad Al-Turki, Director General and Chairman of the Board of the Arab Monetary Fund implementation of the comprehensive reform program in the economic, financial and monetary sectors.

Fishery plans, relief activities discussed in Abyan

Governor of Abyan Abu Bakr Salem discussed on Thursday with Head of Fish Cooperative Union Mohammad Eid improving fishery sector and fishing activities by related societies.

He confirmed keenness of the local authority on providing different support to reactivate fishing across Abyan coast.

On the other hand, Governor Salem met with director of Food Security of Refugee Organization Abdo al-Yousofi and discussed with him relief efforts being carried out by the organization across the governorate.

While Salem highlighted the significant role of the organization in humanitarian and development fields, al-Yousofi showed plan of implementing environment sanitation project worth USD 570 thousands.
