RIYADH-SABA
Vice President General Ali Mohsen Saleh has hailed the army's recapture of a strategic military camp, locally known as Khaled camp, northwest of the Red Sea port town of Mokha, in Taiz.
In a phone call with the commander of the 4th Military Region Fadhal Hassan and the Deputy Chief of Staff Saleh Azandani on Wednesday, the vice president praised the warriors' heroic bravery that ended in the recapture of the camp from the Saleh-Houthi rebels' control.
He also hailed the role of the Saudi and UAE-led Arab coalition in helping recover the Yemeni territories back from the Iran-backed militants.
The camp's recapture makes the army a step closer to cutting off the rebels' weapon supply route from Hodeidah to Taiz.
