The Member of Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Sultan al-Arada, confirmed that the challenges currently facing our country require joining national efforts and increasing regional and international support in order to contribute toward restoring the state institutions, achieving stability and alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people.

Minister of Water and Environment EzziShoreim has discussed with the local authority of Mahra investment opportunities in their province.

In a meeting in the temporary capital, Aden, the minister and the local authority addressed the preparations for a conference on the investment opportunities scheduled to be held in Mahrah on 17-20 October.

The meeting also focused on issues of concern to the Water and Environment Ministry; failed water projects that need to be revived and accomplished, environmental law and rules that need to be put into effect.

The meeting affirmed the importance of good preparation for the conference and synchronizing the conference with the delivery of government promised funds for water and sanitation projects.

Shoreim said his ministry will follow up with the financiers of water, sanitationand environmental projects to secure the implementation of the projects in accordance with the Investment Map Plan.
