Aden Governor Meets UN Envoy’s Office Team to Discuss Local Conditions and Development Support
Minister of State and Governor of Aden Abdulrahman Sheikh met on Wednesday with a delegation from the Office of the United Nations Special Envoy to Yemen, headed by military adviser Antony Hayward, to discuss current developments in the city and issues related to humanitarian assistance, development efforts, and essential public services.

Senior Nehm officials inspect IDPs in Salb area

The Director General of Nehm District of Sana'a, Zabn Allah al-Matari and the Director General of the Health Ministry branch office there inspected the IDPs in Salb area and heard from them about their health and water-related needs and concerns.

Al-Matari said in a press statement that the government and the local authority represented by the governor of Sana'a Abdul-Qawi Asharif will exert all efforts needed to alleviate the suffering of the people caued by the Saleh-Houthi militias' war.

"The unavailability of safe drinking waters is among the priority concerns that the local authority wants to address," he said.

He added that a team was assigned to survey the water situation in the area found that there is a severe shortage of it and that the little remaining in one of the wells is already contaminated.

"We will presented an urgent report to the governor with a proposal of a solution to the problem."
