Yemen govt condemns terror attack against Egyptian army

The Yemeni government has condemned the terror attack that targeted an Egyptian army checkpoint causing several casualties among Egyptian soldier the city of Rafa, to the north of Sinai.
In a statement, of which Saba obtained a copy, Yemen' foreign ministry called it a cowardly terror attack against the soldier protecting Egypt's national security.
The government, through the statement, renewed its rejection of violence and terrorism in all its forms and kinds, no matter what its motives or causes might be. It stressed the importance of collaboration among the international community to confront the forces of backwardness and terrorism to uproot them.
The government also hailed the courage and sacrifices of the Egyptian army in fighting terrorism.
The government also condoled the Egyptian government, people and relatives of the victims wishing for the injured speedy recovery.
