Aden Governor Abdulaziz al-Maflahi and Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Jacqueline Parlevliet on Wednesday discussed here issues concerning refugees In Yemen.
Al-Maflahi welcomed the team of UNHCR , hailing support provided by the organization in different fields.
The governor also called for enhancing coordination with Aden's local authorities to facilitate the work of UNHCR and meet the demands of refugees.
He asserted that Aden security has gotten better in Aden in support of the Arab Coalition and security services.
For her part, Parlevliet expressed pleasure over the cooperation of the Yemeni government and local authorities in receiving refugees, presenting tasks achieved by UNHCR during the past period in Aden.
