The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Deputy Finance Minister: Taiz salaries will be sent off in two days

Yemen's Deputy Minister of Finance said salaries of public employees in Taiz will be sent off to the province in two days time.
In a statement to Saba, Dr. Mansour al-Betani said: "The salaries will be sent off in the coming two days as per the directions of H.E President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi and H.E Premier Ahmed Obeid bin-Daghr."
The deputy minister dismissed as "baseless" the claims that the Finance Ministry in Aden is withstanding salary payments to the province of Taiz.
