Chief of the Supreme Court judge Hamound Al-Hitar said it is no wise to implicate judges in the political and military conflicts going on in Yemen under any banner."
In a post on his Facebook Page, Al-Hitar said that judiciary is an authority people approach to get disputes and conflicts resolved, so judges should stand at equal distance from everyone.
The background of these posts from SC chief is that the Saleh-Houthi militias had summoned a number of judges in its controlled-areas to convene in a conference for "the Wise People of Yemen" to get them to take the side of the militia in the ongoing conflict in Yemen.
