Riyadh, (Saba) - Deputy Minister of Local Administration Abdulsalam ba-Abboud discussed Sunday with Representative of the United Nation High Commission for Refugees to Yemen Ayman Gharaibeh projects the organization's project in Yemen.
Ba-Aboud praised the significant role the organization plays in Yemen, via its office in Aden, noting that the UNCHR's activities have helped improving humanitarian conditions of the Internal Displaced People.
The meeting tackled coordination between the Yemeni Supreme Relief Committee (SRC) and the UNCH regarding the organization's programs in Yemen via the committee's office in Aden for providing better humanitarian services for refugees.
Yemen is facing severe humanitarian crisis with huge number of internal displacement across Yemen over rebel militias' war on Yemeni people in different governorates, said ba-Abboud.
He added that the SRC provides different types of facilitations and support to all international organizations operating in Yemen.
For his part, Gharaibeh confirmed that the organization exists, through its main team and offices in a number of governorates, in displacement areas to provide needed care and support to displaced people.
