The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

PM, German official discuss support of Yemen's reconstruction

Berlin (Saba)- Prime Minister Ahmed Obeid Bin Daghar and Advisor of German Chancellor Christoph Heusgen on Thursday discussed here aspects of cooperation between Yemen and Germany, and how to support Yemen in the framework of international and regional terms of reference, and reaching a lasting peace in Yemen.
In the meeting attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdul-Malik al-Mikhlafi, Heusgen affirmed that his country is ready to provide further support to Yemen in the development, health and relief fields.
The meeting was also attended by Legal Affairs Minister Nahal al-Awlaqi and Yemen Ambassador to Germany Yahya al-Shuaibi and other officials of both sides.
