Sharjabi discusses with UNOPS director interventions in field of water and sanitation
Minister of Water and Environment, Engineer Tawfiq Al-Sharjabi, discussed today, in the temporary capital, Aden, with the Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services in Yemen (UNOPS), Mr. Fayyad Rasoul, the office’s interventions during this year, in the fields of water and sanitation projects currently being implemented, and the projects scheduled within the framework of the signed agreements, which exceed 101 projects in various governorates.

President Hadi holds meeting with National Defense Council

Riyadh (Saba)-President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi on Thursday met here the National Defense Council with the attendance of Vice President Ali Mohsin Saleh and Prime Minister Ahmed Obaid Bin Daghar.

The meeting which was also attended by members of the council, dealt with Yemen's various updates and developments.

President Hadi urged members of the National Defense Council to shoulder their responsibility toward their nation, security and stability, referring to victories scored by the army against the Houthi-Saleh militias.

Hadi highly valued all sorts of cooperation and coordination with the GCC States, particularly Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates , indicating that they made great sacrifices for the sake of putting end to the Houthi-Saleh coup and restoration of the Yemeni state.

The meeting further touched on a number of the issues on its agenda and it took a number of decisions relating to the field and political situation.

It also lauded the success of the humanitarian relief response meeting held in Switzerland this week and efforts exerted by Sweden and Switzerland which hosted the meeting.
