PM, FAO official discuss program implementation in Yemen

Geneva (Saba)- Prime Minister Ahmed Obaid Bin Daghar on Wednesday met here with Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) José Graziano da Silva on the sidelines of the meeting on the humanitarian response plan for Yemen held in Geneva.
The prime minister said FAO has been working in Yemen since five decades to help Yemeni farmers improve the quality of agricultural production, provide technical assistances to livestock breeding and fight the spread of agricultural pests.
Bin Daghar affirmed that the Houthi-Saleh militias caused an unprecedented famine, pointing out that famine has spread in the areas run by the Houthi-Saleh militias.
