The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Rabat, (Saba) – Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammad al-Sa'adi expressed Yemen's appreciation to Islamic Bank for Development's decisions on lifting suspension of financial withdrawal on Yemen and postponing payment of due installments to a year.
These decisions will have positive effect in carrying out projects implemented by the bank in Yemen, said al-Sa'adi in a meeting on Thursday with Chairman of Islamic Bank for Development's Groups Bandar bin Hajjar on the sideline of annual meeting of the financial institutions being held here.
They agreed on organizing priorities of carrying out projects financed by the bank in Yemen and its participation in reconstruction plan.
