The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Egyptian authorities express readiness to release Yemeni fishermen

Cairo (Saba) – Egyptian authorities have expressed readiness to release Yemeni fishermen who were held because they mistakenly entered the Egyptian territorial water.
This came during a meeting held on Tuesday between Yemen Ambassador to Egypt Mohammed Marim and Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister Ayman Abdul-Fatah.
The Yemeni ambassadors demanded to swiftly release the fishermen, particularly as the Yemeni authorities previously released Egyptian fishermen in similar cases .
The two officials also discussed bilateral relations, how to enhance them and facilitate the procedures of visiting Yemenis to Egypt.
