The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Afrah al-Zouba stated that the Yemeni state undertakes its constitutional and sovereign responsibility to protect its citizens, lands, coasts, ports and territorial waters, and that enabling its institutions to carry out this responsibility is a key element for the security of Bab al-Mandeb, the Red Sea and international navigation and trade.

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Lieutenant General Tareq Saleh held a video conference on Wednesday with French Ambassador to Yemen Catherine Corm-Kammoun

He discussed with her latest developments in Yemen and the region, as well as the ongoing escalation by the Houthi terrorist militia and its repercussions.

The meeting, held on the occasion of the conclusion of Ambassador Corm-Kammoun’s tenure in Yemen, also addressed the efforts of the Yemeni naval forces and Coast Guard in combating arms and drug smuggling and enhancing the security of vital maritime waterways.
