Naval forces foiled an attempt to smuggle a new shipment of military equipment, including components for Iranian-made drones, to the Houthi militia across the Red Sea.
According to the National Resistance's military media, the operation was carried out successfully on August 24 following precise intelligence monitoring of maritime smuggling networks directly linked to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Naval patrols intercepted the vessel at the designated time and location, seizing advanced control and guidance systems for suicide drones, live-video transmission and processing equipment, fuel-injection components, specialised electronics, drone communication devices and antennas, along with other supporting electronic parts.
