Yemen Joins 23rd Session Of Council Of Foreign Ministers of OIC

JEDDAH - SABA
The Republic of Yemen participated today, Thursday, in the 23rd Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held in the city of Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Dr. Mansour Bagash contributed to the gathering deliberations. He affirmed that the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias continue their attacks on cities and ports with missiles and drones, threatening international navigation in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

Bagash appreciated the OIC's supportive stance toward the Republic of Yemen and condemned the Israeli aggression, war crimes, genocide and repeated assaults on holy sites, and the ongoing attempts to change the existing legal and historical status al-Quds.

He reaffirmed the Republic of Yemen's ironclad support for the rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state based on the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
