ADEN – SABA
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has strongly condemned the airstrikes carried out by the Israeli occupation forces against Abu al-Duhur Military Airbase in Idlib Governorate, in the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic.
In a statement obtained by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the ministry said: “Targeting Abu al-Duhur Military Airbase constitutes a violation of Syria’s sovereignty and a flagrant breach of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.”
The ministry warned of the dangers posed by the continued attacks and the threat they represent to the security and stability of the region, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities, put an end to these violations, and hold those responsible accountable.
The ministry reaffirmed the Republic of Yemen’s solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic and its support for all efforts aimed at safeguarding Syria’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and stability.
